The Hermitage's Restoration and Storage Centre and Royal Philips Electronics have presented a joint project of dynamic illumination in the Carriage Yard. The use of unique technology producing different light effects allows visitors to travel back in time. Now the royal carriages can be seen in the twilights of the White Nights, in February blizzard, or in the trembling light of old street lamps.
