A new exhibition at Catherine’s Palace called “A portrait of a shoe” celebrates the history of French shoes from 18th -20th century. Shoes from collections of Russian and French museums, fashion houses and private collections are on display. The exhibition marks the Year of France in Russia and is open for visitors from Apr 01-May 20, 2010.
