XI International Winter Festival “Arts Square” is held in St. Petersburg from Dec 14-24.This year St. Petersburg’s most famous wintertime festival of classical music is supposed to be the culmination of the Year of France in Russia and Russia in France. The festival will be opened by Maestro Yuri Temirkanov with an all-Ravel program, including the Piano Concerto for the Left Hand. Another highlight is the performance of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra playing Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique.
