Peterhof Fountains have always been one of St. Petersburg's favourite iconic attractions. When they are turned on, it signals the start of Summer. The grand cascade, an impressive sight on any day, will be especially theatrical this day. Musical selection of this year is themed around French tastes in honour of the 2010 Year of France in Russia. It is worth noting that although this is the ‘official’ turning on ceremony, the fountains actually will start working from 08 May.
